This English text is a reference translation provided for convenience only.

In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the Traditional Chinese version prevails. (See §12.)

Welcome to pawtner.me (including its subpages, the "Website"), operated by Murci Co., Ltd. (the "Company"). By browsing or using the Website you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Website Terms of Service (the "Terms") in their entirety. If you do not agree to the Terms, please stop using the Website.

1. Scope

(1) The Terms apply to the browsing and use of the Website, including all content and features on it — the blog, the care handbook, event pages (such as the "Nomdex" pet index), and the AI scan trial service (pawtner.me/scan).

(2) Subscription to and use of the 毛股長 Pawtner APP (the "App") are governed separately by the App's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (pawtner.me/legal/app), not by these Terms.

(3) For how the Website collects, processes and uses personal data, please see the Website Privacy Policy (pawtner.me/privacy), which forms part of these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property

(1) All intellectual property rights in the content of the Website (including but not limited to text, images, charts, logos, interface design and source code) — other than user submissions or content otherwise attributed — belong to the Company or its licensors.

(2) Without the Company's prior written consent, you may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, publicly transmit or otherwise use the Website's content beyond the scope of fair use.

3. User Submissions

(1) Certain activities on the Website (such as the "Nomdex" pet index) accept user submissions, which include a pet photo, pet name, species and breed, location, a short bio, and social-media links (collectively, "Submissions").

(2) In respect of your Submissions, you warrant to the Company that:

1. you are the rights holder of the Submission, or have obtained lawful authorisation;

2. the Submission does not infringe any third party's copyright, portrait rights, privacy or other rights;

3. except with the person's consent, the Submission contains no personal data of others (such as another person's name or contact details, or imagery from which a specific person can be identified);

4. the Submission contains no unlawful, obscene, defamatory, hateful or otherwise inappropriate content.

(3) You grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, publicly display and publicly transmit your Submission, and to make adjustments necessary for presentation (such as cropping or resizing). This licence is limited to the Website and to the Company's promotion related to the relevant activity (including the Company's social-media accounts).

(4) Submissions are displayed publicly only after review by the Company. The Company decides in its sole discretion whether to publish a Submission, and may remove any Submission at any time without prior notice or reasons.

(5) You may at any time ask the Company to remove your Submission using the contact details in §10.

(6) Participation is unpaid; the Company owes no consideration for its use of Submissions.

4. AI Scan Trial Service

(1) The Website offers an "AI Scan" trial feature (pawtner.me/scan, the "Scan Service"): before the App's official launch, you may upload your pet's medical documents (such as vet receipts, medication lists and blood test reports) and have an artificial-intelligence model read them into structured data.

(2) Using the Scan Service requires signing in with a LINE, Google or Apple account. Signing in creates an account in the Company's user systems; once the App launches, the same account gives you access to your scan records in the App.

(3) Allowance: each account may run one scan per day, or three per day once you have added the Company's official LINE account as a friend and the friendship has been confirmed by the system. The Company may adjust these allowances in light of its operations.

(4) In respect of each document you upload, you warrant that you are entitled to upload it and that it contains no third party's personal data (such as the name or contact details of anyone other than yourself). The Scan Service provides a manual redaction tool: before uploading, you may cover personal data on the document with black blocks, and redacted content is not uploaded. The service does not, however, automatically detect or redact text on documents — please confirm before uploading that you have covered any information you do not want processed.

(5) The rights in the content you upload to the Scan Service remain yours. To provide the Scan Service, you agree that the Company may — within the scope of providing the service — reproduce and store your uploaded document images and transmit them to the third-party artificial-intelligence providers the Company uses for recognition; for details of how personal data is handled, see §3 of the Privacy Policy.

(6) Recognition results are generated automatically by AI models, may contain errors or omissions, are general information for reference only, and are not medical advice. Always verify results against the original document and follow your veterinarian's diagnosis and instructions. The Company does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of recognition results.

(7) The Scan Service is a trial. The Company may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of it at any time; upon discontinuation, your stored scan data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

5. Account Registration and Security

(1) You must have full legal capacity, or have obtained the consent of your legal representative or assistant as required by law, before registering for or using services on the Website that require sign-in (such as the Scan Service). The Company bears no legal responsibility for misrepresentation.

(2) Website accounts are accessed by signing in with your LINE, Google or Apple account; please keep the credentials of those third-party accounts safe. Any act performed under your account is deemed your own. If you discover your account has been misappropriated, please notify the Company promptly.

(3) Each account is for the registrant's personal use only and may not be lent, transferred or sold to others.

(4) If you breach these Terms or the law, or where there is a risk of infringement of the rights of the Company or others, the Company may — without prior notice — restrict features, or suspend or permanently cancel your account.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Website you must not:

(1) violate any law or public order and morals, or infringe the rights ofothers;

(2) distribute malicious programs or viruses, or engage in any conduct that may interfere with or damage the stable operation of the Website's systems;

(3) use automated programs to bulk-harvest the Website's data or service content without the Company's consent.

7. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as LINE and social-media platforms). Those websites and services are operated by third parties; the Company is not responsible for their content or their handling of personal data. Please consult the relevant third party's terms and privacy policy.

8. Disclaimers

(1) The content provided on the Website (including blog articles) is general information for reference only. It is not medical advice and cannot replace the diagnosis and judgement of a veterinarian or other professional.

(2) The Company is not a medical institution. The AI recognition results provided by the Scan Service are merely an organisation of record data; they are not medical advice and cannot replace the judgement of any professional veterinarian or other expert.

(3) The Company is not liable for any damage caused by errors in the data you provide, or by other factors not attributable to the Company.

(4) The Company does not warrant that the services provided on the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that all problems can be corrected immediately.

(5) Where the Website's services are temporarily or permanently interrupted due to system maintenance and upgrades, acts of God or force-majeure events (including but not limited to earthquakes, typhoons, epidemics, war, government acts, outages of third-party APIs or cloud services, and distributed denial-of-service attacks), or other factors beyond the Company's control, the Company bears no liability for damages, but will use its best efforts to restore service within a reasonable period.

9. Amendments

The Company may amend the Terms at any time in response to operational needs or changes in law, with the amended Terms announced on the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the Terms are amended, you are deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

(1) The Terms, and any matters not provided for herein, are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

(2) In respect of any dispute arising from the Terms or from use of the Website, the parties shall use their best efforts to resolve it in good faith. Failing resolution, and except where the law provides otherwise by mandatory rule, you agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance.

12. Language

These Terms are governed by the Traditional Chinese version. The English version provided by the Company is for reference and convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the Chinese and English versions, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
